Gymanstics and physics
Physics is all around us, everywhere we go. Gymnastics is a sport that I did for a long time and that involves a lot of physics. For example, a skill called a standing back tuck. This skill relates to two different physics equations; Momentum= mass x velocity and force= change in momentum/ change in time. Starting a back tuck, your angular momentum is zero because you have nothing but yourself to flip your body. Once you jump off the ground and throw yourself up and backwards, your tucked mass decreases the distance between your body and the axis of spin. Your angular momentum stays constant throughout the skill, having there be no external torque.
