Newtons first law in soccer.

Newton's laws are everywhere in soccer. For example, at kick off, the ball is at rest until the whistle is blown then the player foot Is the net force creating the ball to move. Any move or change in direction a player does with the ball is also Newton's first law because it states an object in motion will remain in a straight line unless acted upon by a new force. if you were to draw a free body diagram for a soccer ball at rest would have a gravitational force (mg) pulling down on it, Fn pulling up on it because it is resting on flat surface. Another time Newton's first law is in play is on goal kick and a corner kick.
