Physics in soccer

When i play soccer i see physics a lot. There is the obvious projectile problem of when a ball is kicked or thrown but i also see it many other places. For example when a ball curves. This is caused by the spin on the ball creating high and low pressure around the ball causing it to curve. I also see physics when we play on different surfaces like either turf of grass. Each playing surface has a different coefficient of friction causing the ball to roll farther or shorter than you would think. Another time i saw physics was in a game a player on the other team was running full speed at the goal and at the last second tried to stop. He slipped and slid into the goal moving it about three or four feet. I tried to move the goal back and could not move it on my own making me think he had to have hit it with a lot of force to make the goal move so far. Also when two players go up for a header and collide i think of a momentum problem when they collide.
