  1. Hello once again audience! Today I'm going to talk about a duo of absolutely awesome government assassins from The Avengers, Black Widow and Hawkeye (also known as Natasha Romanov and Clint Barton). Now you might be thinking, what's so super about these two people? They are just people, no super powers or anything. Well I can tell you that they are in fact super with their accuracy. Let's start with Hawkeye. Like his name says, his eyes are like a hawk's. But how precise is that? Precise enough to shoot a flying alien space craft without even looking! Hawkeye's power is this excellent accuracy with his bow and arrow. Next we'll move on to Black Widow. At first she seems like any other pretty girl. Wrong! She learned super self defense techniques with, like Hawkeye, excellent accuracy. Now, many superheroes seem completely unrealistic and could never be alive in real life. But Black Widow and Hawkeye are like real people. The government and other people have assassins just like the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in Avengers. The CIA, FBI, SWAT, you name it. These super characters aren't as fictional as they seem. Lil' Bretz singing off.

    Time Travel

Awesome blog! Back to the Future is one of the classics. Who would have ever thought this could happen?
  3. Very cool! I always thought the sound of the shower would drown my singing out
  4. In The Avengers, Loki the Norse God of Mischeif and his Chitauri alien army invade The Big Apple. But how were they able to do that? Well I'll tell you it certainly wasn't by cab. They traveled through space with the use of The Tesseract, a small cube with enough clean energy to sustain the whole planet, or destory it. But can space travel really occur? And does such thing like the Tesseract even exist? Actually, scientists around the world are studying worm holes and how to travel through them. Einstien was the first person to theorize this type of travel. Adam Hadhazy wrote an article on worm holes and space travel. He said, "The solutions describe a "tube" through the four dimensions of space-time, potentially connecting two regions vast distances apart. Think of two dots on a sheet of paper that is then folded so the dots overlap. That overlap is your wormhole, and it could theoretically allow for the transfer of matter from dot A to dot B instantaneously, instead of traveling the normal, long way across the sheet." (http://www.livescience.com/33730-science-fiction-fact-wormhole-space-travel.html) So can space travel be achieved? The answer lies in the future and how science evolves from generation to generation, innovating new ideas and challenging old ones.
  5. This is really cool! I love music too and the facts in your blog are very interesting!
  6. Wow, I never thought of that before awesome job!
  7. Welcome back to another blog on superheroes with me, LilBretz! Today's topic will be The Incredible Hulk and the physics behind this "enormous green rage monster." Now, many of you know the basics behind The Hulk; he gets angry and he "Hulks out." But what exactly makes Dr. Bruce Banner turn into The Hulk? Well, while working in the lab, as usual for Bruce, he was hit by a gamma bomb that was emitting gamma radiation. This is usually something extremely bad and results in extrermely bad things. But somehow, Bruce was saved and transformed into The Hulk. But just because he lived, doesn't mean living wasn't easy for him. But what exactly makes him transform? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlJ21p2FxTE Most know the question to that answer, when Bruce gets angry. But is it the actual emotion of anger that sets him off? Or what I've thought is that when he gets angry, neurons in his brain fire up and trigger chemical reactions in his brain that shoot down his spinal cord and somehow bring out the effects of the gamma radiation. I figure this because all emotions start with our brain and the signals it sends out to the rest of the body. And one more question; how can Dr. Bruce Banner stay calm? And here's a little something you guys. Hope you enjoy
  8. Ok, there is only one word to describe this blog post: epic!
  9. Wow, really cool! I've always loved ghosts so this is awesome
  10. Awesome! I never knew how that worked before
  11. That is so cool! And yes even I still cry at that scene lol
  12. Hello once again! It's LilBretz here with more superhero physics. Today's topic is Captain America's shield, the ol' Stars and Stripes. Could this piece of extremely rare metal really be true? Could it really have the potential to sustain after any blow is done to it? Let's find out. Now, in Captain America: The First Avenger, Howard Stark tells Steve Rogers (Captain America) that the prototype shield is made out of "vibranium", a metal that is "stronger than steel and a third of the weight." It also is "completely vibration absorbant." And when Agent Peggy Carter puts this shield to the test... and it passes. But what exactly is this vibranium? In the Marvel Universe, there are two types of vibranium. The type used for Cap's shield is called the Wakandan variety; it's from Africa. It possesses the ability to absorb all vibrations in the vicinity as well as kinetic energy directed at it. The energy absorbed is stored within the bonds between the molecules that make up the substance. As a result, the more energy vibranium absorbs the tougher it becomes. But how much energy can this super shield absorb??? Enough to absorb a blow from Thor, the Norse God of Thunder! But could this actually be possible? The military is always having teams of scientists engineering new technology, so who knows? All we do know is that this wonder shield is just a small part of an amazing fictonal universe. Thank you

  14. Very interesting! This is an extremely controvertial topic around the nation and even in the world. Great work!
  15. I'm still confused with how to exactly write this formal report. What do we write in each paragraph? I know the basics, like we need an introduction paragraph and explain our procedure and data and analysis, and have a conclusion. But I'm confused on what goes in which paragraphs. Someone please help me.
