Our objective in this experiment was to test the speed of driver’s going down Cooper Road. We measured a certain portion of the street and cut the distance in half to make it an equal distance of 21 meters. Then we had two people at the start of each half to record times, along with the last person at the end of the 2nd half.

    Step By Step Procedure:

    1. The person at the start of the first half started the stopwatch as soon as a car reached their point.

    2. They stopped timing when the car reached the second person, who was 21m down.

    3. As a result, the second person started timing when the car got to their point, and stopped to timing when the car reached the end of the second half where the final person was standing.

  2. Hey guys, it's Ashley! I am a sixteen year old senior at IHS. I am a cheerleader and I have been doing it for ten years now. After high school I want to study Dental Hygiene and I am looking at schools in Boston, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and North Carolina. As you can tell I want to get far away from New York!

I am taking physics because I thought it would be best to take another year of science. Also, I have friends from previous years that have told me about their experiences and everything they told me seems to be interesting and fun! I know that this will all be somewhat new to me but I can't wait to see what physics is all about! :)
