3. Working out is the act of building mucsle and exercising your body. In preforming acts of runnig lifting or endurance, you engage in a variety of physics topics including friction, resistence, energy, forces and momentum. For working out, the act of building mucsle demonstrates an example of resistance and or friction. When lifting heavy objects or moving in a forceful manor, it requires you to condemn in motion that essentialy tears the musles cause the force required is working out your mucsles and you gain strength when they grow back allowing you to deliver a greater force. In terms of energy, chemical energy is converted, therefor conserved and then transfered to the body in a new form of mechanical energy which allows you to move things and or run and exercise to get in shape. Continueing to expell energy requires more energy to keep up your endurance and allowing maximum potential to work out. By having stored energy or potential enrgy, you have the ability to move and then its transfered to kinetic energy in your work out secssion. In terms of momentum, bigger and more heavy objects when being lifted contribute a greater momentum against your body inhibiting a greater level or degree of diffuculty for bigger objects and will make more of an impact for you. Because of the more intensive strain it provides. Lesser momentum makes it easier to life and "no pain no gain" implies you will not see great results. Working out is an action that delivers wide diverse physics topics which are good to understand so you know what is happennning to yourself durring work outs.

  7. Bungee jumping is a thrilling, spectacular and mind blowing sport. In terms of physics, it correlates to a variety of diverse properties and topics. Such as energy, momentum, gravity, forces and resistance. In terms of energy, bungee-jumping involves both potential and kinetic energy. As the athlete reaches his altitude, and aproaches the edge, his potential energy is at its maximum peak. as the jumper then takes off, his kinetic energy increases and potential energy decreases so the faller now accelerates to the earth and gains velocity while the conserved energy is converted from potential energy to kinetic. Momentum also is significant in this sport. As the jumper falls freely, his velocity increases along with his momentum and requires a greater force too counter act their forward motion. The change in momentum is known as impulse and in this sport, the bungee chord is the key instrument which slows down the impulse and keeps the person in tact and changes their momentum. Also, the elastic force springs back the jumper and what causes them to sling backward until they slow down enough and reach the happy medium.Unfortuately sometimes the momentum is too great and the chord cant resist the forward momentum and may snap where then people get hurt. Gravity accelerates the jumper to extreme measures and the person can free fall to huge lengths and still survive, amazing

    Football Physics

Football is a form of play consisting of a variety of different physics topics within the game. These topics include momentum, energy, forces along with acceleration and projectile motion. In terms of momentum, football requires the biggest fastest and more momentum then your opponents in order to beat through them. With speed and size, these two factors may decide whether you can block a guy or plow through them. Its also conserved from when someone strikes another opponent and then it gets transfered to the other player or ball which then leads to the balls forward velocity. With change in momentum, that also leads to impluse where one can try to absorb the shock with his body and padding against the momentum of a tackle to prevent injury when the momentum is transfered. When you absorb shock, you slow down impuls and reduce chance of injury. Energy is also a factor where the energy from the players body (chemical) is changed into mechanical energy because its being conserved and then transfered to the ball resulting in the objects motion and action in the game. Energy is the fuel of the players and action of the game. Force is another element involved with the sport. Forces include gravity, work and friction. The force of gravity contributes to the ball and punting of the game which makes it difficult to kick the ball far and you must compensate with extra strength. Also, force of work where it takes lots of work and energy, time and distance to force the guys in a specific fashion or hold them off while the ball is either ran or thrown. Also friction in the air and ground is what contributes to the players slowing down from their cleats against turf and also the air slowing down the velocity and acceleration of the ball in the air. Lastly projectile motion involves the ball in the air which can be measured with the time spent in flight, distance traveled and speed of the ball which deal withe the motion of the football in air. All these components make up the physic fundamentals of the game.

  13.
Longboarding is a particular hobby where a bunch of different physics topics are covered by a simple act that doesnt take much energy by the rider, but can still experience great thrills and excitement. Different keytopics with in this activity include, motion and forces, friction and energy.
Motion and forces are key components of longboarding. The forces in particular enable the motion to take place. The force of gravity acts on the longboard and its rider. The greater the hill (incline) the greater the angle off the horizon and this allows gravity to have more of an effect as it acelerates you down the hill and increase your velocity. Also if your mass is greater, then you contribut more wieght where the force of gravity will be able to act on more matter and allow you to possess a greater degree of motion.

Friction is another key component in a couple aspects. First off, in order to stay more secure with the board, rubber shoes are ideal because they create the greatest combination for the force of friction with the grip tape on top of the board. This force of friction is what helps reduce your chances of falling off the board and getting seriously injured. Also the other component of friction is between the wheels which are composed of a hard plastic and the pavement where friction is at a minimum to allow one to go fast and smoothly.

Also momentum is another topic to discuss. In this activity one can achieve a fast forward momentum due to the length of the incline and also the angle of elevation from the horizontal. If both are optimum, then 30 40 even sometimes 50 miles an hour at some extremes is a whole lot of speed, and falling would hurt alot. Which brings us to impulse, (change in speed) and this is what we care about most for safety aspects. If its a quick difference in speed, (quick impulse), like hitting a rock and haulting the board, then one cant handle and or absorb the shock in a controlled fashion resulting with some extra momentum not being transfered through the board to a stop but instead its converted to access speed and results in one flying forward onto the ground. So we want soft easy change in speed where we can slowly come to a stop so avoid cracks and or rocks in the road or else.

Lastly energy and this has to do with potential and kinetic energy. Potential energy is before you star where if you go on top of a large hill, you have potential to go down on the longboard and when you go, the energy is in turn transfered into kinetic energy and this is your forward motion.

All these components are what make up the physics facts of longboarding.

    Bowling Physics

Bowling is very unique in its set up as far as sports go. It consists of a series of 10 pins which stand in a particular sequence allowing a difficult yet potential strike by the thrower whos objective is to roll the ball and knock down the standing pins. However, if you go in depth and analyze the specifics of the sport, youll find that there are a variety of physics topics involved. Its a game of strategy and precision demonstrating examples of momentum, power, energy, friction and force in the performance of this game. The physics of friction in this sport are considered for optimum play. Friction is reduced to a minimum between the ball and the smooth floor boards allowing the ball to glide smoothly across the surface and maintain lots of force to direct it towards the targets. With reduced friction the game is more focused on other preforming aspects without the worry of unecessary effects. Energy is another actively involved element. within the game. The potential energy of the game is specific to the ball and the thrower. Potential energy originates from the thrower positioning himself in font of the lane. He then cocks his arm back and in a leaning stride follows through with an underhand release ensuring optimal accuracy and power to the ball. This specific stance and releasing strategy gives the ball the potential energy needed to sustain the ability to act in kinetic energy where the ball transfers to a moving projectile and accelerates with kinetic energy until it reaches the pins and hopefully kocks them all down if its energy is great enough. Momentum is key in the sport of bowling. The thrower transfers his forward momentum from his feet and arm to the ball stimulating the ball to act and gain momentum where its mass and speed will give the ball power to in turn transfer the momentum again to the unstable pins where they will get knocked down.
