AnitaMorton Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 How do you calculate magnitude of acceleration of a cart during the time interval t=0 second to t=0.30 second? (#7 on p 18 of workbook) Quote
0 FizziksGuy Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Use your kinematic equations. Start by writing what you know (initial velocity is 0, time is 0.3 seconds, and distance traveled can be measured from the drawing). Once you know three things, you can use your kinematic equations to solve for the other two (details here: https://www.aplusphysics.com/courses/regents/videos/KinEqns_Reg/KinEqns_Reg.html) Quote
0 sophie Posted July 25 Posted July 25 Hello @AnitaMorton🙂 To calculate the magnitude of acceleration of a cart during the time interval from t = 0 to t = 0.30 Find out Initial and Final Velocities then calculate the change in velocity. then determine the time interval t = 0 to t = 0.30. then calculate the acceleration. then find out the magnitude of acceleration. I hope this will helpful for you Quote
