  7. Based on the philosophy of Henri Bergson and the contemporary developments of Quantum Physics, I sought to demonstrate how these developments are incompatible with a positivist vision of reality, which is still influential in the scientific community. Specifically, in the field of Psychoanalysis, I have shown how this outdated epistemology has been responsible for a manic denial of the theories of Carl Gustav Jung and Wilfred Bion (later stage) as part of an immobilising allegiance to a schizo-paranoid functional tradition imposed by its founder. Finally, I have proposed that supported by the formulations of these renegade analysts, psychoanalysis can progress to a depressive position, eventually transmitting this integrated perspective of reality to the rest of the scientific community and postmodern society in general. “Omniscience [on the principle of tout savoir tout condamner] substitutes for the discrimination between true and false a dictatorial affirmation that one thing is morally right and the other wrong. The assumption of omniscience that denies reality ensures that the morality thus engendered is a function of psychosis.” for more info, go to : QuantXCer.com - Quantum Physics In Psychoanalysis And Epistemological Reformulation

  11. Building Blocks Of The Universe - Planck Length what is the universe made of? The short answer is that the universe is built of four substances: radiation, baryonic matter, dark matter and dark energy. What are these substances? 1. Radiation: This consists of photons and neutrinos and makes up 10-3% of the total energy. 2. Baryonic matter: This is the ordinary, familiar material including all of the chemical elements and compounds that we find in planets, stars, gas clouds and plasmas. Baryonic matter only comprises about 4% of the universe's energy budget. 3. Dark matter: This is an exotic substance that does not emit or absorb light. It is not made up of any of the known elementary particles. Dark matter appears to require new physics. It makes up 23% of the total energy of the universe and comprises most of its mass. 4. Dark energy: This is the name given to the phenomenon responsible for the late time acceleration of the universe's expansion. Like dark matter, this cannot be explained by existing physics and requires extensions to our theories of fundamental particles. Einstein's cosmological constant (Λ) is the leading candidate for dark energy, which makes up 73% of today's energy budget. for more info, go to : QuantXCer.com - Building Blocks Of The Universe - Planck Length

NEW QUANTUM NETWORKING HARDWARE Researchers have shown that individual atoms in a thin crystalline slab can be resolved and individually controlled using light of a precisely adjusted color. This will enable the exchange of quantum information between them in order to create extended quantum networks. The work done in this research has been featured on the cover of Science Advances. The realization of global quantum networks, in which remote carriers of quantum information (called “qubits”) are connected by light in optical fibers, is among the most intensely pursued research goals in quantum technology. To implement such a network, one requires efficient interactions between the qubits and individual particles of light. These can be realized in a similar way as one would foster interactions between people: The idea is to confine them to a small region of space – the smaller, the better – and to force them to stay long – the longer, the better. for more info, go to : QuantXCer.com - NEW QUANTUM NETWORKING HARDWARE

Exactly .7 seconds after the ball is released, you don't (yet) know how far it has fallen. You could solve for the displacement of the ball after 0.7 seconds, however. If, instead, the problem had asked "how fast is the ball traveling the instant before it hits the ground," in that case you would use 4.0 meters as the displacement, but you would not know t (elapsed time).

How come the displacement of the ball won’t be 4m?

  16. Hi RegentsScholar06. All of the content is still on the site, just in different places (in the Worksheets sections as well as the Community section, which wasn't available when the first book was published), and all of the videos are still available on the site, just not in Flash format, but more modern streaming formats (and also through YouTube). Unfortunately I don't see as I'll have time to perform such a significant upgrade on the site in the near future to convert the manually-developed Flash content into HTML5, an extremely significant undertaking. All the Best, Dan
  17. anybody else love these classic forum emoticons? They’re so corny yet I love them anyways. anyways, I was wondering. What’s your favorite feature of this site? Mine is the badge system, a bit generic but I love it nonetheless. My hope is to collect all the badges one day.
  18. Forever now solidified with the invention of the Gauss Rifle, which I anticipate will soon lead to magnetic food delivery systems. Don’t quote me on this.
  19. Hello all, you’re in for a treat with the first blog post in *checks notes* FIVE YEARS? Well, I suppose this will be relevant enough. I’ve discovered the site through my physics regents review book, and the big day is soon upon me: tomorrow, in fact, is my Physics regents. I hope I do well! I realize it isn’t a Monday, but I felt inclined to share. have a great day to you all, and enjoy this meme.
  20. This is Breaking Bad tier dialogue in the best possible way.
  21. I think you’re right, though I would need access to the Empire State Building and a cadaver to conduct such an experiment. I’m trying to decide what would be harder to get.
  22. I’ve noticed much of the online connectivity promised in my Regents Physics book is unsupported nowadays due to Flash being discontinued. Is there any chance of this ever being fixed?
  23. How could a pen fall vertically without fins for directional control? It would start tumbling like the proverbial penny.
