Mr. Powlin
Mike Powlin began his teaching career at Dake Junior High where he taught 8th grade science and advanced Earth science from 1992-1997. He returned to the West Irondequoit School District in 2010 where he now teaches high school physics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics and a master’s degree in education, both from Potsdam College. In addition to teaching at Irondequoit, Mr. Powlin has taught in the Jamesville-Dewitt and Tully school districts located in the Syracuse, NY area.
Currently, Mr. Powlin teaches Regents Physics and AP Physics 1.
