Yes world it is true, I am writing the third blog post at this time. I figured since I just did the introduction last week that I should probably get going, so I decided to hunker down and do back to back days worth of blogging as to make up lost time. Today I would like to briefly discuss electromagnetic charges. For those of you who are not aware, the equipment ordered by the soccer team (aka Spirit Wear) arrived Tuesday I believe in the back of Mr. Slattery's van. I ordered a cotton shirt a fitted hat and a fleece, and was particularly interested in one of these things. I was even further intrigued when I noticed something very interesting about the fleece while wearing it today. First, my girlfriends hair acted as it would if a balloon was rubbed on it when I hugged (:couple_inlove:) her in the fleece and walked around her (it followed me ). Then later after I purchased an enormous stuffed lion (plush) from the next to new sale, for three dollars by the way (what a deal!!) I noticed the shedding mane was sticking to my fleece as well. When I wasnt wearing it during the day none of these things happened. But then it hit me!!:eagerness: The fleece material must be a good electric insulator! So basically, during the day my jacket was constantly attracting electrons and stealing them from surfaces with weakly-bound electrons such as Ashley's hair or the "fur" on the mane. After the electrons were taken my fleece was negatively charged and her hair was positively charged. After the transfer, since each strand of hair had the similar positive charge, they repelled each other and her overall, moving toward my negatively charged jacket!!! So I could be completely wrong, but this is what is occurring if I remember correctly.:tyrannosaurus:
