Physics in Driving!

Today when i was driving into the city it was raining. Rain makes it hard to see and when you slow down rain coats the tire, making it smoother and making breaks slightly less effective. I was in a rush so I drove Slightly faster i usually did. because i was driving faster i had to use more gas because the car needed more energy to increase its net force. I was driving a little sedan and because of its shape, air resistance effected the car less so i didnt have to use as much gas. I did not have to the physics of my seatbelt thankfully, seatbelts restrain most of your body so it barely moves and an airbag should deploy so that your neck has a force counteracting the sudden acceleration of the car.
