Italy Experience
This past spring break, I went to Italy with my Italian class. We had no other way of getting to Italy then to use physics. We actually used physics throughout the trip!
We had a long 8 hour plane ride from Chicago to Germany and this contributed to the science of physics. We took off using inertia and had to use motors and jets to go against gravity so we can fly safe all the way to our 5 hour layover in Germany. As we landed the wings had a way of making the airplane, which if I might add was HUGE, stop and control the SPEED of the aircraft.
The class of 32 had a fun 10 day Italy trip and we successfully landed home on Friday, not only because of the pilot of the airplane but because PHYSICS helped us arrive to our destination.
