my name is angelo; my are interests are short and few, primarily watching football or catching up on sleep. I'm a very laid back person whom strives in math and science, i try my hardest to succeed in math and science because i've always liked math and science. The reason i wanted to take physics is because i want to go to college for chemical engineering and all engineers need physics to understand the principles of engineering. Overall physics is a very large part of engineering, along with math and in my case chemistry. I think high school physics will be a lot of fun and probably not as hard as waiting untill college to take it.

hey, I'm Brittany. I've played lacrosse since I was in 5th grade and it now runs my life. I've also played soccer since I was 4, and I play defense in both sports. I love photography and capturing the natural beauty in things. with the little amount of free time that I have I like to hang out with my friends. I am taking physics because I want to go to college and become a veterinarian, and the more sciences that I can get out of the way the better! In physics this year I am looking forward to learning more about matter and energy. I also cant wait to build a catapult! I hope this class will be as fun as I think it's going to be.

My name is Justin, I am a senior and I go to West Irondequoit High School. I like to play sports. My favorite sport is soccer. I play on the school team as a goalkeeper. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends. We like to chill out and play videogames and do weird things. I am participating in physics this year because it is a important class for me to take to help me in the future with colleges. I have already taken more than enough classes but I still chose to be here because I believe I can have fun here.

I'm Sabrina Jade, 17 years old, and have just transfered to this area for my senior year. I am an art student and study arts from visual arts to vocal arts to martial arts. In this new place I'm hoping to get involved in as many functions as possible. My problem is the fact that I keep getting lost in this school. Off the bat, I'll usually keep to myself unless approached by others, but either way I'm happy to see such a great variety of students here. As far as physics go, it was recommended that I take another science class before I graduate high school. So I'm taking it and I now have a great seat right beside the window. The class seems plenty energetic and …

I'm looking foward to a busy year full of my my favorite (and not so favorite) things. This includes reading of course, which I do almost constantly. One book I want to read this year is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Also, I plan on auditioning for the fall and spring plays at my school and the school musical. Overall, I'm going to have a ton to do this year. One of the many classes I'm taking this year is (obviously) physics. I decided to take physics mainly because it seemed interesting and I want to take at least four sciences in high school. This year I hope I learn a lot about how the world works. I'm looking forward to having fun in science this year.

Hi, I'm GuitarGirlx3, and I enjoy volleyball and track & field. I also play some guitar, but I'm no expert. I am kind of excited for physics this year, even though I know it will be challenging, because I have not liked any of the previous science courses I've taken. Although science isn't really my favorite or best subject, I look forward to taking this class and learning things about the world that I have never known. I really hope to succeed in this class and pass the regents.I hope to end my high school career on a good note by taking good notes, studying hard, asking questions, paying attention, helping others and of course NOT procrastinating.

Hi I'm Reed and I go to west irondequoit high school. I will be going into my senior year and I super excited about the fact that I am senior class president for the second year in a row. I am also a dancer I have been dancing for 11 years, I am also the captain of the varsity swim team for the second year in a row. I also love to read books, listen to music, hang with my friends, and learning something new. In high school you are told to take three years of science and the fourth year is optional, you decide if you would like to continue on with science. I had originally planned not to go into a fourth year of science because I am not a science person and I do not do …

I am currently a Junior at IHS and I am excited about physics. I enjoy tennis on the school team and skiing with my friends. I love sports and being active, it keeps me sane with all the AP's I am taking. I collect political campaign buttons, or any buttons for that matter and magnates. I am taking physics because it seems like a very relatable class. What I mean by that is one could put it to use in everyday life. Also because it just seemed to come next. I am not taking AP because I would like to take all the regents course of the basic sciences and then chose the AP that I like the best of those.

My name is Nick and I'm a junior. In my free time i like to play sports, mostly soccer and tennis which i am on the varsity team for both. When im not playing sports or in school im usually doing something with friends or i am outside snowboarding, mountain biking, golfing, or playing basketball but it is possible you could find me napping because i get tired and love to sleep, who doesnt?! I am taking physics this year because it was either this or chemistry and chem seems really really boring which i will eventually dread taking next year. this year i hope to learn more about the world and how stuff works because i find myself asking questions like "how does that …

My name is Alicia, and I really love music. I like listening to it but my passion is playing it. I play guitar, bass guitar, and ukulele. I practice my instruments in most of my free time, but I don't think I'm going to pursue becoming a professional musician as a career. I also love nature. I have a big backyard so I like to sit in the grass and watch the clouds roll by whenever I'm feeling stressed or need some silence. I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do when I'm older but I'm considering going into the social sciences. I'm taking physics mostly because it was one of the opportunities I was offered for my schedule, but I'm also taking it because I like try…

Hi! My name is Celeena, and I'm a huge fan of anything baseball or hockey related. I'm in 3 different bowling leagues, I've been playing violin for 9 years, and I love a good game of ultimate frisbee. I am also a competitive horseback rider and own a horse named Indie. My plans for after high school are to attend college and become a dental hygienist. I chose to take Physics this year for a couple different reasons. #1 Because I already took Biology and AP Biology as well as Chemistry, and I thought that Physics would show that I am a well rounded science student. And #2 because I enjoy science classes and learning about what they have to offer. Sometimes theori…

My name is Baillie, I am 16 years old. I have two sisters and a brother. Family is very important to me. I love to be creative and express my self, In a reasonable manner of course. I played soccer since I was 4 years old but I recently have stopped playing school soccer and focused more on working and my grades. I enjoy school, somewhat. I feel as if my grades are pretty good. Grades mean alot to me because my future means alot to me. I don't want to graduate high school, go to college, start a career, get married, have children and so on and so on. I want so much more than that, yes I want to graduate high school as well as college and have a career. But I want to trave…

Hey Mr. Fullerton, when I'm not at school, I really like to hang with my friends. Most of the time I play video games with my friends or I play street hockey. My closet frineds are her at Irondequoit but lots of my friends are from other schools so it hard the hang out with them. Good thing is I get to see those friends at the hockey rink. I love hockey, that's my favorite sport. Also play soccer and lacrosse but hockey is the number one deal for me. The reason I chose to take on physics is because I want to become a Immunogloy and I would to get as many sciences that I can. I'm also taking AP Bio this year. I think also that Physics will help me get into a good college…

I will be teaching Regents Physics beginning this September and I need all the help I can get! This site has been great for lesson prep. I purchased and downloaded the workbook but I was wondering if anyone knows how I can get an answer/solution key to Pearsons Physics Review: The Physical Setting? Budgets are slim and I teach in a low income district so purchasing the books is not an option and it seems that is the only way to get a key.

Hi! I'm Bob. I haven't taught Regents Physics for 15 years, and found your site last week while looking for materials last week. I wish I'd found it in September! I'm using your Modern Physics worksheets, because those resources are few & far between (and new since I last taught Regents Physics). Thanks for sharing your resources! -Bob

Hi, I'm Liz and I'm a senior. I love reading and I like to cook. I also love hiking, camping, and being outdoors in general. I don't really know yet what I want to major in, but it will probably be some kind of science. I'm taking physics this year because I think it would be good to have four years of science, but also because I find the subject really interesting. This year I am excited to learn about how physics affects me, and gain abetter understanding of the world around me.

Hi I'm Roxy and I'm a senior. I run cross country and do art (clay sculpture and pen are my favorites). This summer I took a nap almost every day, watched the first 5 seasons of The Office, and spent alot of my time lifegaurding here at the IHS pool. I like food and nice people and good music among other things obviously but those are the essentials. Honestly I'm not looking forward to senior year too much but am excited for what lies ahead after high school. I decided to take phyisics because I was told by many that it's an interesting class and is helpful when applying to college. Its good to get a basic understanding of all the sciences. I know absolutely nothing ab…

I'm Tori, and I'm a senior in high school. I don't really do any extracurricular activities, but I have a job so that's good enough for me. I love being around my family and friends, but I also like to be by myself sometimes. Once I graduate, I want to go to college and most likely get into criminal justice. Oh I love traveling too, I would love to go so many places, but I don't really feel like naming them right now because it's a long list. I'm taking physics because I figured if I could survive chemistry, this couldn't be too bad. Also, I figured it would look good if I took a science this year because its not required. I hope to learn at least one useful thing this…

My name is Hannah and I am a senior student who is taking physics this year. I am an only child which is why I have a weird and special relationship with my dog, Sydney. My favorite things to do are baking, singing, dancing and being in musicals. I am a music nerd and have been dancing since second grade and have been in 7 musicals. I am very short and small but am full of energy and very enthusiastic. I am taking physics this year because it was the next science to take that wasn't an AP and I didn't want to drop science overall. I am not very good at science in general, but the topics and subjects of physics are very interesting to me. This year I hope to learn more…

This year in physics i think I'd like to learn cool and interesting things like magnetism and propulsion and such. The things my teacher said we'd cover do sound pretty interesting to me and i'd like to learn lots of cool stuff. Oh yeah and possibly sound waves too, as i want to get into music production later on. This year should be fun, i can't wait to learn cool stuff!

Hi, I'm Lily and I'm a junior. I love music and all things art. I enjoy connections. Whenever you can connect something you've read or heard to something in your own life, I love. I like thinking, and thinking about how other people think. I have a small obsession with flowers and leaves.. I just have to pick them up and look at them. I like things that are soft and things that make me smile. Last Sunday, I moved here from across the country and I've never been so unsure about anything and everything. Anyway, that's a little about me and I know that you aren't supposed to start so many sentences with "I"s, but I couldn't help it. I took physics initially because tha…

My name is Caitlin Maggio, and I am currently a junior taking physics. I enjoy playing soccer and lacrosse, and am very social. When I'm older, I plan to study sports medicine or sports therapy. I chose physics as my science this year because I thought it would help me to understand my future plans and continue to expand my knowledge in the science environment. I'm looking forward to learning new things during this course and hope I enjoy it!
